I'm looking at a smaller horsebox - ideally a 4.5 / 5t box. I would look at 3.5t if the payload is half decent.
99% of the time only ever take one horse - only in an emergency would I be taking 2. My girls a 15h welsh d x, and the pony is 13hh newfie type.
Licence isnt a problem as I have a full HGV, but am just finding that I dont really have need for all that 7.5t lorry!
So question is - where did you buy your little lorries, what do you have, and what are the advantages / disadvantages? I havent sold my 7.5t box as yet - but don't want to get too far down the selling this one & buying another if it's not really going to be suitable.
Also - any guidelines on running cost comparisons between 7.5 & 3.5?? Again, don't want to be changing box if its going to end up more expensive to run
Thanks in advance
