As title, looking for somewhere that sells micronised linseed, was going to order it online but was £7 for delivery which is abit pricey for 3kg :(

thanks :)

we order it in with mole but they do have to get enough orders in until they will place it with charnwoods.

Sig cheaper than paying the postage (21 for the feed, £7 postage from charnwoods) though just have to plan in advance :).

gwtitmus (or something like that also deliver) but I found it in my local feed store so worth calling round your usual places, even if they don't have it in stock they may well be able to order in (and save you the £7!)

Bones can get it in for your normal feed supplier. Mole Avon in Axminster order it in for me. I don't have to pay the delivery charge then, which makes it much better value. I have one 550kg horse and x1 20kg sack lasts me about 2 - 2.5 months - I feed apprx 300g per day to mine.

During the cooler months micronised linseed will last up to 5 or 6 months (even after being opened, providing the sack is kept cool and dry) but in summer the oils in it will oxidise more readily in the heat; then, it's recommended linseed is used up within 3 months or keep a very close eye on it - make sure it doesn't start to smell or change colour.
