Please could you recommend anyone for rubber mats, supply or supply and fit, I'm in Cardiff

I've rung one company and emailed another but no reply from either

And experiences with EVA vs harder mats

Thanks

I got mine from E-bay - but I phoned them and negotiated a better deal as I was buying a lot - we all clubbed together to buy in bulk. I don't remember the exact name of the shop but the mats are Easimat so do a search on E-bay for that. Company was in Devon if I remember correctly.
I've got EVA ans they're great, easy to lift and to cut and have performed well over 3 winters now. The only down side to them is they do stretch in the first year or so, so I was always going back to time them over and over - about once a month for about 18 months! They've settled now though and I don't have to anymore.

I'm in Cardiff too and a friend got some EVA mats from Arthur John in Cowbridge, they were quite reasonable, especially as it was just one stable she was doing so couldn't get a bulk discount like I did. They don't seem to have performed as well as mine though, a couple have bubbled up (for want of a better word) in the middle so there's big lumps all over her stable, but they go down if you stand on them!
Another got the more traditional mats from Countrywide in Wenvoe and I don't think they were too expensive. The benefit of that, is you can pick them up there and then so no waiting for delivery, although mine were delivered free (I think, it was a while ago!) within a day or two. They are much heavier and more tricky to handle though.

Search on the net for cow mats, same quality as stable mats but lighter, or speak to your local feed merchant to order some in for you
