Hey guys, I'm toying with the idea of getting a quad for use at the yard - to level the arena, tow a small trailer etc. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good place to find reasonably priced/cheap quads, I am based in suffolk but willing to travel. And have very useful agricultural mechanic friends to help me out if they need some tlc!

Cheers in advance!

Thanks! Do you know where I can find out about where and when the farm sales are? I have said agricultural mechanic friends on the case too, but feel better if i'm on the lookout :D

it all depends how much you want to spend on one:rolleyes:
i know where theres a big red for sale with full road kit and road registered.;)
the down side is its in wales  but very good bikes and being able to legally use it on the road is a plus. just tax it as a agricultural vehicle.

Cheers guys! Will keep my eyes peeled,
I know that the Big Reds are good bikes, but from looking at ads the fact that a bike is road legal drastically increases its price! And i'd like to spend as little as possible :D - i don't want much, do i?!

Google 'Fieldens' they are quad bike specialists, beware of cheap chinese ones on ebay, they are made of monkey metal and have little or no backup. Stick to mainlime makes such as Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha, for what you want don't bother with 4 wheel drive as there is more to wear and go wrong and they are less manouverable
