where to buy telegraph poles or similar thing?

hi, In the area where I am based telegraph pole barns/sheds are quite common and as I have a number of horses and buying stuff in bulk means I need somewhere to store it, I already have a large shed with telegraph pole construction (althouh you wouldn't think so cos looks like normal pro built small barn), but considering building another.

I would have thought you could reclaim them - would railway sleepers work too?

ebay they are not as easy to come by now a days and i think someone told me they are about £20 a pole.

Make friends with your local BT poling gang, they will let you have them when they are doing pole replacements in your area and might even deliver them if you ask nicely ]

My ex's gang used to charge about £10 a pole I think - all strictly against the rules of course

Look in Farmers Weekly, saw some in there this week. Not sure where they were in the country tho.
