Forage plus analysed my forage this year and gave me a detailed break down of what was needed to supplement - fantastic, except that now I can't contact them. Put in an order for more minerals a week ago and no response to that or emails or phone calls. Is there another contact address that would be better? Really would much prefer to get my stuff from Forage Plus if I can as they seemed so genuine. I hope they are OK and nothing has happened as they seemed so commited and nice.

However, as I can't contact them, does anyone know of another reputable source to supply these minerals??

With Equimins the forms of copper and zinc is different and the dosage is very different. Used to get mine from equimins now from forageplus.

A friend's order arrived recently so hopefully yours is just delayed
 
Always get mine from FP too. Unusual that they haven't arrived, I ordered a couple of weeks ago and they were here within a couple of days. Perhaps they have had an extraordinary event?

They were active on Facebook on Wednesday.
 
You've worried me now! I've paid for a grazing analysis to be done, then never heard anything so emailed them. Took about a week, but got a reply - something about a local pylon being damaged & affecting their internet.
So i emailed again, asking a quick question about how much grass needs to be in the sample, but have had nothing back :-\
Might go over & ask on the uknhcp forum.
Pro Earth on ebay & Natural Horse Supplies are excellent for supplements though :-)
 
I use Progressive Earth as he delivers it when he comes to trim my horses;)

I'm sure ForagePlus will get back to you soon and explain what the problem has been - Sarah isn't dodgy in any way so don't worry:)
 
Cheapest place for mag ox is your local (if you have one!) farm supplies shop. Calmag is magnesium oxide as ground dolomite. It costs about £10 for a 25 kilo bag, and you feed 25 grams a day to a big horse.
 
Thanks everyone for the replies, would like to buy from Forage Plus as then I know it will match their recommendations exactly, so will hang on for a few more days and post positively if I hear from them.

In the meantime, if anyone hears from Forage Plus please let me know. They have been excellent and really helpful to date, but I know they are a small company and whenever people ride horses you always worry a little bit if you don't hear from them.
 
Sarah's number is on her other website - performance barefoot - why not give her a call, maybe theres some kind of technical glitch??
Eta - my minerals arrived really quickly.
