My friend has been using one of my horses as a companion for her gelding, however we now need her to be a companion for us! So we're helping my friend look for another one - she's looking for a non-ridden companion, preferably a gelding that can live out with her horse but occassionally come into the stable and is not going to be a bully but a friendly horse that is good to handle, catch, shoe etc. She'd be happy to have something on loan as she doesn't really want to have to buy one. I've looked on the bluecross website which shows a few which we're going to call up about. The horse would have a great home as the land is at the end of her garden and she doesn't work so is around all the time, thoroughly spoiling the horses! Any websites or rescue centres in southeast england would be really appreciated

If you'd posted this a month ago I knew 2!

They've both now been rehomed. Their names were put down with some rescue charities so I would contact them they probably have a huge list!

Hi,

my friend has a 16.3hh gelding that she wants to put out on loan as a companion. He lives out all year round and is easy to do. He cant be ridden as he is a persistant rearer.

She is in Portsmouth though.
