I'm looking for a horse to compete in all disciplines, potentially BSJA for loan but ideally with view to buy. I have looked on horsequest, equineadverts and a couple of others but can't seem to find any.

I don't mind youngsters from 4 years old that haven't any experience or if the horse needs some schooling.

Where else can I look?

(I know I've previously posted about buying but have tried quite a few that aren't right so now looking down the loaning route)

Word of mouth v useful for loans. Especially now so many people are nervous about loaning due to the horror stories that many would rather find people through a friend etc so they're not a complete stranger. So I recommend really getting the word out, ask every horsey person you know if they know of anything (and if not whether they can keep an eye out for you). Go to shows with friends and talk to people and generally let people know you're looking.

Other than that try local hunt websites, PC website and local branch websites, Horsemart. Facebook pages also, join the local horse sales/loans groups as often people advertise on there before paying for a proper advert. I'd say your best bet for a competition horse is Horsequest though so check that daily!

Good luck!

Loverly how experienced are you? Would you consider taking on something that needs a bit of work as has been off work due to pregnancy (mine!).
