Where to find a loan horse?

I've trawled through local websites and have no success at all!

Bare minimum: 14hh+ happy hacker that wouldn't mind popping a little jump. Must be good in traffic and live out.

Will be ridden by myself (20), my younger sister (14) and my mum (40 something, going on 25 of course )

Am I being thick? Is there NOTHING out there? We are TOTALLY open minded and would consider anything from a competition horse who is having a winter off competing, to a PC pony, to a long term loan of an oldie!

Help me pleeeasee? Marmite on toast offered. Or maybe a pear if you don't like marmite!

Look on national websites, horsemart etc.

Have you tried local tack shops and feed merchants? They often have lots stuck up on boards etc... Where abouts are you?

Yep done Horsemart, PC, all the usual. Done local tack shops, everything is too young (under 5/needs backing) or for lease

Try Equine Adverts I am advertising for a competition rider on there. They have a section for loan horses. Its quite a good site.
