I'd like a little lead rein pony on loan.
Any ideas where to put a wanted advert or where to look.

Tried word of mouth - no luck.

I've tried rescue centres - blue cross, don't have a lead rein. RSPCA - say they have may have something but I've been chasing and chasing and they just don't call me back (and that's after telling me they have hundred of ponies looking for a home - so frustrating!) and I almost feel like a nuisance when I call now!

Tried preloved, horse and hound, horses4homes but no luck.

all suggestions welcome.

There was a thread running the other day someone had a lead rein they wanted to loan out, search lead rein and loan, see what comes up, might have been in the other two popular sites as well, new owners and riders and feeding, it was there i remember.

That's a shame. They do rehome all over UK. My WHW came from Norfolk centre and I'm also in Warwickshire :-)

I did go and see him twice in Norfolk and you have to pay for transport xx

About 11hh and a mare - no sweet itch or laminitis.

Thing is I've left it too late I think to travel. I've been in touch with rspca since February, stating I needed said pony for May. They said that would be plenty of time to sort something, but still no joy - I've called regularly, RSPCA don't return calls or call back when they say they will. Now I'm running out of time as need something by mid May and don't think they are going to come through for me.
So, ideally want local as don't really have the time to travel.

TRied horses4homes but couldn't see anything.

Thing is I have a lovely home waiting!

Not sure how big you need but this little 12.2 looks lovely

TBH if you need the right pony for a child and your on a deadline you might need to travel a bit
At least with a charity you know that their ads will be pretty accurate and that the loan process is clear and they won't mess you around

Bransby are a lovely charity and they rehome across the whole of the UK

Applied to blue cross but the pony was already reserved. They do have companion ponies but the lady I spoke to said if they went as companions they were not allowed to be ridden :(
