hi everyone....
well to cut a long story short - i teach a young girl (nearly 13) show jumping on her 15.1... she is very talented..sadly the horse is not as good as she is - nor will she be....
she was advertised (after many tearful times from her jockey) and sold subject to vetting - which she failed today (to our amazement)!!
the vet is due to to go back and try and find the root of the problem for them...
so unfortunately - they are not ready to buy the horse the horse they were hoping for.....however, we had always hoped to find "the little jockey" (who's 5'7" and still growing!) a second horse to compete... and so have decided that this is the time to start looking for a show jump / school master, to loan for their daughter...
she is a very competant rider and has dealt with very quirky horses... and they are ideally looking for something that is happy to jump 1.10m ideally even a bit bigger......
but.... i know these are like gold dust... and wondered if anyone could suggest any - or somewhere to look??
i am just about to call and see if a grade A school master is still available..(one someone on here told me about!)....but other than that - haven't found anything!!
