I'm in need of some new jodhpurs as all of mine are too big for me as I've lost quite a bit of weight (I have eating problems). My problem is that I have really long legs, but I need a waist size smaller than a 24", as they are way too big for me.
Does anyone know anywhere that makes jodhpurs that would fit me, or anywhere that does made to measure ones that don't cost the earth? Thanks :)

Thanks guys, will look into Pikeur ones :) I can ride in leggings in the summer but atm I think I'd freeze! Chaps are also a problem as even child sizes are too short but then are too big round the leg and bunch up or fall down :/ The joys of being oddly shaped!:D

If you're looking for warm breeches, then the Pikeur Lugana Winter breeches are great - fleece lined, water resistant - lovely and warm!!

I also have a tiny waist, and it's a nightmare trying to find jods/breeches to fit.
Luckily my friend is very handy with a sewing machine and she takes them in at the waist and down the leg if necessary:)

I am a 24 and buy Caldene childrens ones they do come in reg or long and I am 5 foot 7, and they are long enough for me, I am sure they do smaller ones might be worth checking them out, they are alot cheaper than the adults ones, I did get mine last year from Equestrian Clearance for around twenty pounds.

My weight goes up and down a bit and I need (sometimes) smaller waist sizes. I found the children's Caldene Three Tech really good - and really reasonably priced (like £12!) :D Bit cheaper than Pikur for everyday!! They are available on ebay. Nice and stretchy, too! I am 5'8" and long in the leg - they are great on me!

I have found this too, 24" jods just about stay up but being 5ft 9 childs jods look like 3/4 jods. They make stuff for "fuller fillies" but it is such a bind trying to find stuff for us.

I wear kids ones which do come up on the large side, so I have to roll the tops over which just about works. :D:rolleyes:

It's so frustrating isn't it, they make jodhs for larger people but forget about the really thin people like us! I also find that kids jodhs do small enough waists but the length is literally just a bit below my knees! Someone out there needs to make 22" waist ladies jodhpurs with long leg lengths, then I'd be happy and would probably be their best customer! :D Thanks for all the replies, will have a look into all of those :)
