Where to find people to help exercise?

Just wondering where the best place/way to find someone to help exercise is? Looking for someone to ride my horse in the week (can only ride weekends due to 6th form) but want someone capable so horse is actually worked properly, not asking for any financial/chore contribution so a good opportunity for free riding on a nice, vice free horse.
Have previously advertised on Preloved but had a lot of novicey people enquire?

In honesty if you want your horse ridden by a competent, capable rider you are probably looking at paying a professional. Maybe you'd have more interest if you said the rider could compete the horse too?

Had thought of that but i'm not really wanting to pay as I know there are people out there who'd be interested in what i'm looking for, just don't know where to find them! Have also considered FB horsey groups but worry i'd get quite a lot of novices/kids?

Where abouts are you? Put an advert in your local tack shop, competition centres or in h&h, more likely to get competant people.

I've been on the other end of the spectrum of this in that i put ads up looking for a horse to ride. I always just ended up with problem horses who the owners clearly wanted schooling/training for free and some of them were downright dangerous.

It might be worth trying your local university if there is one nearby. Students sometimes have to sell their horses due to uni and cant afford to own one so you might find a decent rider there.
