Hey all,

I know this isnt strictly horsey but you lot are always great for information and advice. Here goes!!

Im a member of my local young farmers club and we are trying to raise money to buy some rugby shirts that we can wear to be recgonised as a club. All of us either ride hunt or own horses even the boys!! although most are too obsessed with their tractors. Just wondering if anyone knew of any company I could approach to ask for possible sponsorship??

Thankyou...lots of wine and chocolate for wading through that ramble!!

Speaking as a company owner, you have to approach a firm to whom the audience is relevant, and are likely to spend some money. I'd think you're more likely to get a local firm to do it, and you need to make a point as to where and when these shirts would be seen eg you compete in the annual xxx, you have a stand at the county agricultural show etc etc so that they know they'll get value for money being seen about.

So you could try local tack shops, feed shops, vet, farrier, saddler, micro brewery (have heard all about you YF!) - though maybe that's not appropriate if you have under 18s , or perhaps general traders eg sign makers, tyre merchants, that appeal to a wider than YF audience

Good luck and will skip the wine - too early and the chocs - too fat but thanks anyway!
