Hi, I have been having some strange goings on at my yard, nothing major, but my mare seems a bit freaked out when I bring her in which is not like her, and yesterday I found a piece of wood at the back of the pony stable. It wasn't in the Haylage originally as it was a piece leftover from some stable repairs we did and was no where near the box. I really want to be able to keep an eye on things when I am not there but I don't have mains power.

I use a twelve volt battery to power my fencing, and we have rigged up some security lights now, but as the yard is half a mile away and not overlooked they are just a deterrent. What I want is some camera system I can set up and run without mains power. So far I've not found anything online but I know you guys are brilliant and hoped you had some ideas.

Sorry but dont know of any camera systems, are you able to go back to the yard with someone at differing times over a period of nights and see if you can find anything ???

We have been varying our times, and asked the local dog walkers to keep an eye out too. The problem is you can see people coming a miles away from the yard so it would be difficult to sneak up.
