I'm going to be sleeping in my lorry for the first time and need to get an 'odd' sized mattress.

Not after a super duper one and hoping not to spend too much.

Any one got any recommendations?

It's not as wide as a standard single and is longer, so maybe a made to measure foam one?

Having spent years sleeping on a cut-to-measure foam mattress (every night, not just in a box) can say they can be very good value. I expect cheapest will be to have a google for local trade places to get it cut... then either cover it yourself or get a local upholsterer/tailor to do it :-)

Ikea do cheap foam ones and cheap mattress toppers you could use as one, or there is a place called 'direct foam' c/o google who will cut you any size, they have done my cushions recently and were done to my specifications.

Have saved this name thanks, OH is turning a mini-bus into a camper van....in the hope we can go on sporadic weekends away, as and when we can....as not in the position forfull-blown holidays at the moment...the cushions for the seats were what I was wondering about.....

:D
