Jack has a fabric crate and I want to crate train the new addition but I don't trust a puppy's need to chew so want to get both of them metal ones.

The shops round here seem to be massively expensive though, does anyone know where I can get them cheaper online? I've had a quick look on ebay but I'm always wary of buying from there.

Ebay :)

We got a ginormous one from there (I know you'll be looking out smaller ones) for a good price. I know some people have had bad experiences but it was from a good online firm (can't remember which!) and my mother is a bit of an Ebay fiend and has never been stung.

How about freeads.net (private sellers, can be quite cheap) or freecycle (everything on it is free) I've just given away a perfectly good medium metal dog crate on here as dog has grown too big :)

We got one from argos, our VERY destructive pup hasn't done any damage to it so far. Although this could be because my MiL lets her out of the crate as soon as she cries *sigh* but thats another story!

Ebay is good, though watch out for high carriage costs. There have been quite a few crates in the Shropshire Star recently, do you take it or would you like me to keep an eye open in there for you?

Got mine from Pets at home (or whatever it's called these days) Not all that expensive or else I wouldn't have bought them, but can't remeber exactly how much.

What size do you need? We have three for Herman  One he grew out of in about 3 days, the other is only really suitable for when we're on tradestands and the other which is his night time one.

The smallest is a large and measures 36x24x25 inches and I'm sure I could be persuaded to part with it if this wasn't considered an advert?! No idea what price to ask though!
