Hi everyone
I've just moved my horse down to London Colney from Holderness as I'm a student at the RVC. I'd really like to take her hunting a few times this season and would like some advice on who to go out with as I don't know the area at all. I also have a slight problem with her standing still although she is well manered in all other respects out hunting, so somewhere with a sympathetic field master would be nice!!!
Thanks for your help
Becca

I'm in Essex, near Herts, but may be too far around. My geography is rubbish - maybe Cambs and Enfield Chase? Or Puckeridge (not that forgiving an MFH with them!)?
Have a look on the mfha website.

Cambs and Enfield chace would be your local but tend to hunt further north now most of the time since they merged.

I hunt with the Puckeridge and find them very friendly. The MFH has always been fine (possibly because I know his mum!) even when my cob has been nutty.

PM me if you want some contact details.

Puckeridge don't jump much, the country is quite heavy with alot of stop/start on clay, can have some quite good days though. I hunt in the car these days but daughter is often mounted on her pony.

Vale of Aylesbury?? From London Colney you're in good reach of most of their country. I was Bricket Wood based and hunted with them. PM if you want details
