Where would you look for a 3 year old gypsy vanner/ hairy cob? :)

And how much would you expect to pay?

Someone in my local area is looking to buy one, and if she does we're going to field-share, so I said I'd try and help her look. :)

Her criteria is - 3 or older. Mare or gelding. Nice natured. Under £1000.

She doesn't mind if they are broken in or not, in fact she'd prefer they weren't broken :)

Any advice on where to look?

I've browsed H & H and horsemart with no luck

ETA: Above 13.2, but would prefer something 14hands :)

Hadn't thought of preloved! thanks! :D

She's checked the local tack/feed shops, the only cobs are priced around £4000  but then they are all backed and winning shows! :D

I have scoured the internet for a good few hours now and I cannot find a nice 3 year old cob for under £1000.

Do you think it would be better if she looks for something younger? There seems to be tons of yearlings for sale!

It should go onto the dragon driving page With dealer whips at the top scroll down and you see the mare
Looks a little rough with mud but has great potential

Ooh thanks :) I'll take a look at dragon driving and try and find that mare! :D

I'll have a snoop at the horsemart ones! Thanks :)
