Where to look for Ponies to Loan

Looking for a pony to loan for 2 children (8 & 11), have checked horsemart, horsequest and Equine Adverts, also looked at the rescue places Redwings, WHW & EMU.
Where else can I look for a pony to loan, looking for something about 14hh that's relatively normal, looking to do a bit of everything.
Equine Adverts had quite a few, but they all want them to stay on the yard that they're on.

Any suggestions appreciated.

P.S we're in Scotland, did see one on Horsequest with an 0161 number but think it may be a bit far to go and see (I'm taking the details anyway).

You listed all the ones i was going to suggest ;-)
You cold also try on Facebook as there seem to many local horse groups setting up and people do advertise on there. UK horse community i think is one.
Do you have Friday-ads there -they sometimes have some.
Also do check local takc shops and the like.

I would check the pony club sites, sometimes there can be older ponies on there looking for a slightly quieter life now but the owners dont want to sell

Have you got any local Riding Clubs/ Pony Clubs in your area? If so people will advertise their horses for loan/ sale on their Club Message Boards.

I had a lot of responses when I was looking for my daughters pony on preloved and we found

Try gumtree, I stuck up wanted ads after searching everywhere for a first pony. Took a few weeks to find the right one but loads of people got in touch
