Where to look?

Hi

Me and mum are after a small peice of land with stables to rent (for our own personal use). Where would be the best place to look?
We've looked in loacal tack shops etc, but wondered if anybody else would know where would be a good place to start.
We're looking in Mids/ Worcs area.

I would register your interest with your local estate agents, they dont just sell houses! Also, keep a good ear out for land through word of mouth and dont be afraid if you see somewhere with empty stables and land of getting in touch with the owners and asking!!! we rented a place a few years ago which was owned by a farrier who was now in his 70's, he was more than glad to see horses back outside his window once again and it was reassuring to know someone with horsey knowledge was about 24/7!

Look in you local free add, or place a wanted add. It might be worth contacting your local parish council. Sometimes Parish councils own land. Another idea would be to speak to local farmers or any 'old boys' who ypou see in your village. Its surprising what they may know.
