Where to 'rent' a horse for the day in the hampshire/surrey area?

I thought I'd be proactive and start my hunt for places that 'rented' out their horses for a day for attending sponsored rides etc. My cob is always taken out of work from allergies through April to August and rather than sit and sulk when others are all packing up to go to the sponsored rides, I would quite like to pay and take one out for the day. My boy could probably manage it in walk however would feel happier not having the stress of travelling him and constantly worrying if he was struggling round.

Anyone know of yards that offer any kind of service? Unfortunately, being the tallest person on the yard and having the biggest horse means I can't borrow anyone else's as my legs are too long!

Am not sure what the hunt hirelings do in summer (haven't thought about it before!) but start by asking your local hunts and pony clubs/riding clubs if they know of any?

Chessington Equestrian Centre do hirelings for sponsored rides - also things like xc schooling.
