where to ride in london

hello. does anybody know a good place to ride in london or at max 1 hour of public transport from chelsea? I am looking for a riding centre with at least a good arena and the possibility to do school for good riders in dressage and jumping. in a few months I would like to bring my horse here from italy so I also need a good livery and paddocks if possible. thankyou everybody for the help. chiara

I would reccomend Oldencraig Eqestrian Centre...

If you're Chelsea way then Claygate is a good option as you're straight down the A3....there are some good livery yards but no riding centres as such. Oldencraig is defo good for lessons but hate to think what the livery would be there!

Kingston Riding Centre is walkable from Norbiton train station. Others include The London Equestrian Centre and Trent Park. Also this website is worth a look www.hoof-in-town.com
