Where to sell jumping saddle?

I have a gorgeous Stubben Portos S Jump saddle for sale, 17" Seat, 30 Width which I paid £1350 for and have ridden in a handful of times but is now sat doing very little in the tack room.

Ebay and Paypal charge such huge fees I don't really want to go there, has anybody had any luck with Horse and Hound or Horsequest for selling saddles?
 
I stick with ebay myself, but if you don't fancy that then how about Saddles Direct? They might offer you a price for your saddle if they buy it, or you can advertise it with them if you prefer? Handy for a valuation if nothing else?
 
To be honest eBay tends to be cheaper than your local tack shop and your saddle is less likely to get trashed

For expensive saddles, eBay is good as private sellers fees are capped at £40, then PayPal is 3.4% plus 20p

So on a £1,000 saddle fees are £40+ £34.20 = 74.20 = 7.42%

£500 saddle bit more = £40 +£17.20 = £57.20 = 11.44%
 
My daughter is looking for a jumping saddle (coincidentally just that size 17 W) but her budget won't stretch to that so for the moment she's still saving to get a bit more behind her unless a total bargain comes up.

She goes on to Facebook pages a lot and looks at various things for sale and she plans to list her horsey stuff on there when she's sorted it out because it's free. I can't recall which pages she goes on though, maybe type "Second Hand/Used Tack" into it and see what it comes up with.
 
I sold a lovely Fieldhouse jumping saddle on Ebay a couple of months ago. It took me a second listing to sell it as I stuck to my guns on the fair price that I wanted for it. I had lots of lower offers but keep your nerve and it will sell.
