Where to sell?

Hi all,

I have a 13.2 nine year old show pony mare that I need to sell but I'm not having much luck. She is broken to ride but her forte is really as a broodmare, and I am finding it difficult to get people interested despite her breeding and show successes.

Any idea's where I could advertise?
 
Horses aren't selling very well as we are coming into winter.

I advertised recently on Horsemart and Adhorse. Had numerous calls, was very honest on the phone and vetted everyone as I wanted the best possible home. First person that came along, bought horse there and then. I think if you are completely honest and price the pony realistically, you should be able to sell.
 
i have a 12.2 P/C pony i have been advertising but no luck. i tried horsemart. had a few calls one person never bothered to turn up. tried local feed stores. am not sure where to advertise now as i need a quick sale due to unforeseen circumstance
 
I advertised our 14.2hh on horsequest on Tuesday last week at a realistic price with 4 photos. Emailed more photos and video clips to second caller on Tuesday night and they called Wed morning, bought him over the phone, paid that day by bank transfer and he left on Friday. So, it can be done - if the price is right (and I guess at this time of year it's lower than in the spring) then a sale should follow. Good luck
 
Local papers, supermarkets, tack shops, feed stores, etc, car window? yard, riding school/s, what about freeads and adtrader, both their websites and in the paper themselves....
