Where would you advertise a Lorry?

Just wondering where people look for lorries? Or have successfully sold them?
Had mine for sale for a couple of weeks but not many people are prepared to travel to Scotland :-(

Is H&H and Horsequest worth the money if you are in Scotland?

Any 'local' web sites?

you have had 60+ lookers, but no advice localy, on google i found this, www.horses4salescotland.co.uk/folder-3543-boxes this takes you direct to the horseboxes and trailers section, nationally on F/bk is horseboxes/trailer/carts/carraiges

Ebay worked for me for both my Disco and 7.5 lorry after trying loads of other places.

Thanks Nicnac - how does Ebay work with a lorry? Do people come out and view and then bid or just bid and see it when they collect? Did you use paypal or do they bring cash when they collect?

There is a Facebook page called Horse Trailers and Boxes for Sale - Scotland. I put a trailer on there and it sold within a week so might be worth trying your box on there too.

I sold on bids with a reserve - they didn't come and view but both buyers turned up and paid cash.

Both ads had loads of photos and I answered questions via eBay before bidding ended.
