Where's that thread gone on the warranty pony??

I was half way through reading that interesting thread ( i think i was on page 4 set on maximum amount of posts displayed) and it seems to have been pulled? Ive never been on a thread thats been pulled while reading.

I found it very interesting and as far as I had got there was no abuse or bullying it was a very decent thread. I was actually unaware that you could buy under warranty at an auction and was actually learning a few things about the process so shame it got pulled.

I think it was because names were mentioned.

The OP was also advised to delete her posts in case of a backlash from the dealer (who isn't a very nice character) so I think either she or the mods decided to delete the whole thread.

Oh right. Well thanks for clearing that up. Like I said its a shame, it was making for an interesting read and its nice to trawl through a long thread that doesnt resort to mud-slinging and nastyness, unfortunate names got dragged in but OPs safety is more important then entertaining the masses on a sunday night!

OP you could always start a new thread asking general questions about auctions. That particular thread started ringing alarm bells when names were mentioned, certain comments made etc. Sometimes we all need to remember this is a public forum.

I didn't think it was libellous or slanderous if what is told is fact. IE mentioning if people have convictions (hyopthetically of course).
