Where's the best place to find out about local competitions

As the title really, I have just bought a new gorgeous horse who I am hoping to event soon but want to go out and do some unaffiliated dressage and showjumping to build up our relationship, practice and have some fun. I have had a little look on line but not found much really. I am in Hampshire. Also if anyone local is going out and about please let me know as I would love to see a friendly face at copmpetitions, its pretty scary going alone!!

How about asking at the local tack stores / feed merchants?

Local tack shops, saddleries, feed merchants. Dont bother with google.

Thanks, we don't have a lot of saddlers around here but will trawl though the ones that we do have. Anyone Hampshire based who wants to chat and talk horses let me know! : )
