... to advertise livery vacancies? I have put a few ads up in local tack shops but no enquiries so far. Where would you look? Are there any particular websites? Any ideas appreciated, thank you!
I'm currently advertising a space too (we are in North Somerset). I'm thinking of paying to put an advert in something like horsemart - but wasn't sure if it's the right place, so I'd be interested to see the replies of where best to advertise too.
Yes, i was looking at horse & hound, but wondered if it is slightly the wrong time of year to be advertising. Do people generally think of moving at this time of year or do you think there are more people looking at the end of the summer? Advertising is expensive isn't it! And I did have a little ad on my signature - but admin removed it!
The Riding Diary South West, because most people look on there to find show dates.
Feed merchants, places like Mole Valley often bring results too.
Even a sign on your gate can bring someone who may be driving/riding past.
I would try local papers, free ads and adtrader on the web and in the paper versions, local tack, feed shops, als supermarkets (horsey people go shopping!!) a sign on the yard/house gate, perhaps even one in your car??
