I'm in the process of getting a loan for a new car and trailer, i was thinking discovery but actually having had a look i won't get a lot for my money really.

So it there a better way to go? I did have a P reg Nissan Terrano which always towed really well but un-sure whether i should just go for a newer version or something else.

I have about £3000, maybe more if i sell the Terrano first although i may save that money to go toward an ifor....

Love x-trails :)

We have just got a subaru outback estate though. Very nice inside (leather etc etc) for day to day, but nice and strong and heavy for towing. Has very good ratings and gets through snow & mud no probs :D

I have a Grand Jeep Cherokee its been converted to LPG it's so comfortable to drive, economical and fab for towing :) before that we had a Toyota Hilux Surf which was good but cost a bomb to run and wasn't too great at towing it was very old though and did us well. Bought it for £1k traded it in for the Jeep 18 months later and got our money back so can't complain it did its job amazed it was still alive after! Lol would defo get one that's been converted to lpg though especially if you want one as an every day 4x4
