At the moment i have a set of Wolseley swift mains powered clippers which are pefect, however i now don't have a plug near my stable and have been looking at selling them and buying some cordless clippers.
I am a 1 horse owner who very very rarely clips bodies with my clippers if i can get away with it ( prefer to pay someone as i am asthmatic and it makes me wheeze as i am allergic to horse hair!) however i do fully clip the bottoms of my girls legs myself and also hog her mane so definately need a clipper not a trimmer.
Been searching on here and see a lot of thumbs up for liveryman harmony's and moser avalons, would they be upto the job?
Honey roasted cashews and galaxy chocolate for anyone that can help.

livery man harmoney. i love mine :D paid £100 for mine from ebay. mine have however broken and i they wont clip but i think i just need new blades. (im hoping) or something has snapped that holds the blades on. but thats prob my mistreatment rather than design.

I have the Avalons and love them. Bought as my horse suddenly decided the wire was going to kill him so tried to kill me instead :D
Iuse them to clip, trim but havent tried to hog so not sure how they would cope. They do his feathers no problems though, friends trimmers wont even cut when I tried them although fine on other horses so I think my boys hair must be courser.
