Peter Bunce is a hunt monitor for 'Protect Our Wild Animals'. Even they are now saying that the Hunting Act is anomalous and I shouldn't be prosecuted for breaking it.

Looking through the law, another option would be for me to get he flushed out animals pecked to bits by a bird of prey. That sounds particularly nasty and I don't think I'll do it.

Why is that legal whereas just flushing them out and letting them go isn't?

Is that an animal welfare measure?
