Which boots do you use and why?

There are so many out there!

I'm asking as my horse slipped out on a fun ride and was lame for a few days after - I would like to boot him for support before we go on another one

it really depends on what you are doing and what you want the boots for??!!

i tend to use a set of clarendon competition boots for when im doing lots of road work/ or fast work on stoney lumpy bumpy forrestry tracks.

i have clarendon tendon boots for when we are jumping, otherwise she is careless and rapps poles as she cant feel it through the competition boots!

i like these boots because they seem supportive and they are VERY hard wearing (assuming you look after them!) i have had mine for over 10 years, and although they are well broken in they are still in near perfect condition.

i didnt get my boots from here: but these are the ones i use...http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgu...&ndsp=15&ved=1t:429,r:4,s:44&biw=1191&bih=694

I use Woof wear for every day - just the club brushing boots. For schooling I use sport wraps and for competing I imagine I will use either prolite or dalmar.

Woof Club brushing boots in front, because she moves close and if she knocks herself and goes lame I wouldn't ne surprised if she tweaked her tendon again. I can't risk that, so I boot up. We don't do much so.no.risk of over-heating her legs, really.

I sometimes use my Prolite boots instead, for no particular reason!

CLARENDON HUNTER BOOTS

all the way i use them for sponsored rides when more dangers strange horses around, give support dont slip have two types of fastenings hooks and Velcro

Clarendon themselves recommended me the hunter boots for my mares son too i have used them many years wont get anything else

whisp&willow those are the hunter boots you gave the link too not competition boots those(hunter) ARE THE ONES I BOUGHT TOO

Woof wear club brushing boots I have a White pair a red pair and a black pair!

I sometimes use both the ww on the front and back but have ..

Tri-Zone Equilibrium Brushing boots in White for front

They fit extremely well !!

I always boot up as ride in a field so a little safer

He also forges sometimes so I use overreach boots up front

When jumping I have John Whitaker tendon and fetlock set in White but don't train in those as he will realise it doesn't hurt if he knocks a pole!

im a Tri-Zone fan all the way Have brushing boots for everyday. Wraps for schooling and some shiny new XC boots hopefully in the post! Fit my fine legged Anglo brilliantly, wash and wash and wash and look as good as new after 4 years!
