I need to get some boots for my mare but there are so many on the market and I've got no idea which are good makes. I don't want to spend too much money, so just somehting that does the job.

She sometimes overreachs when doing flat work and she knocks her legs jumping (coming back into SJ and X-Co after finishing racing last year).

Please could I have some advice on what type of boot and what brands?

Thank you!

Loads.

What's your budget?

Over-reach boots are about £5 from Equestrian Clearance.

Sounds like you want tendon boots for the front. I have some Mark Todd ones that do a good job - don't move, easy to put on, protect her legs, easy to wash and dry - and they were about £20; or some Equilibrium TriZone Cross Country boots, which I don't recommend (and they were about £140 for a set of four).

I have the Air Cooled PE event boots and rate them especially for their price, I also rate WoofWear for price. Them or something similar with a pair of overreach boots which you can pick up for very cheap as well.
