Help! Im getting myself more confused each second!!

My horse currently has a jeffries falcon plain cavesson bridle with a lemetex martingale and lemetex reins all dark brown and cob size.

Now this tack was brought for my old horse and my new horse is slightly bigger. While this tack fits, the noseband, the throat lash and the martingale are on the last hole.. also hes OK in a cavesson but I do notice that he opens his mouth sometimes in it.

I dont want to strap his mouth down with a flash but think a loose flash will help to keep his bit stable and just discourage him slighty from opening his mouth too much.

Hes also chewed his reins

so they are going to need to be replaced.

My first thought was to get a jeffries flash noseband and a new pair of jeffries reins but this is going to come to nearly £100 so considering the size issues I may as well buy a whole new bridle!

What do I go for??

I was thinking a Lemetex magic brown bridle. It comes with reins and then I can save up and get a matching bigger martingale or breastplate. I quite like this bridle because its dainty and being a TB he has a dainty head.

Does anyone know what sizing is like with the lemetex bridles do they come up big or small? My horse is between a cob and a full really. Should I get the cob or the full?

Or should I save up and splash out on a stubben or something fancy? Maybe a more expensive bridle would last longer? Although finding matching reins, martingale then may become really expensive

So confusing!!

Lemetex bridles are really nice - equivalent quality to Stubben. I guess it depends what size horse & head?!
I have a 15.3hh 'chunky' TB & find that cob size is big enough.
