The shutter speed on my digital camera is just too slow! I can never catch those action shots of my daughters as they actually go over the show jumps. Can anyone recommend an easy to use, not too expense, digital camera with a fast enough shutter speed to caputure those action shots???

I have a sony a200 DSLR. Brilliant for action shots as it takes 3 pics per second. Just point, hold down button and away it goes. Memory card holds almost 1000 pics aswell.
I'm sure mine is now the old model but was around £200 when I bought it.

I like the Nikon Coolpix which have a sports mode on them, they then take lots of quick shots of things like horses galloping! Sorry not very technical was it!

Hi,

I have also had this problem where I've got the jump and no sign of the horse due to the delay between pressing the button and the shutter going. I've now got a Fuji bridge that has a continuous setting so I can take something like 60 consecutive frames. Had a first test yesterday and was told the results were as good as the pictures the professional at the event was selling.

Best of luck camera shopping,

Px
