Hi

Just wondering what horsey classified websites you all use?

I ‘think’ I know of most of them, but if anyone can think of any more – feel free to add!

Also, for those that have recently sold horses or horseboxes, which site have you found to be the most effective (ie. is it worth paying for an advert or best to stick with the Freebie ones?)

i sold my mare 2 week ago - and she was seen on horsehunter and stabletalk so yep reccomend them and the ads were free

Whenever i have advertised something, be it horses, livery or even tack etc, I have found that I got the most interest from Freeads Online !

When I buy, I normally look on e-bay first - this is where I bought my trailer

Sold our show cob through Horsequest a couple of weeks ago - sold within a week and would always use them for the more specialist/expensive horses.

From a buyers point of view I always look at horsemart, horsequest, horse and hound and a local website called NFED.

Sometimes take a look on the PC classifieds too.

It does depend on where you are. I generally advertise in the freebie newspapers locally. Otherwise I've tried Horse Deals magazine but got nothing at all from it. Ive had most success with Scot Horse. I think most English folk dont want to travel so far up here so theres no point in advertising on anything other than local / Scottish sites!

Everyone goes on about Horsequest on here but I personally hate it - I just hate the design and use of it, thats why I would never use it!
