Which clip?

Will need to get the hairy beast clipped towards the end of feb when he properley comes back into work.

He is a very hairy shire x so will sweat excessively once it warms up and then he'll get itchy. I definately want some of his neck and chest off but thinking possibly a blanket clip as he's out 24/7 and unrugged as much as poss so want his bottom protected from the elements.

He is a good doer and doesn't feel the cold xx

I did a blanket-ish clip on my girl - go from the top of the back leg in a slightly downward curved line (curve depends on how much you want to take off) up to withers

That way bum is left on entirely for warmth but enough off for work

Chaser clip might be enough (can go as low/high as you need).
