I bought some Wahl clipper oil a while ago and my girl came up in a lumpy rash the day after using it. I previously had a tiny bottle that came with my liveryman clippers, which she was fine with... anyone know what that was likely to be? Or any clipper oils that hopefully won't bring up a reaction?

Thanks

many horses come up with utacaria after clipping due to oil. for the sensitve ones was off immediately after clipping with hot water and a glug, glug of brown vinegar to remove oil traces and to return skin, hair to optimum PH. you could give a sachet of bute if mega sensitive

Wolseley clipper aerosol oil is pretty good. I have not had any complaints from customers I have supplied it to. It contains an antiseptic to stop infection as well as a lube for the blades....
