I did an HND at Warwickshire before doing a degree at another uni and loved it!
Lived in the first year and had my horse with me on the student yard.
Competitions on site were great BD and BSJA plus horse trials, got to go hunting on a student rate too.
Nightlife in Leamington Spa was really OK too plus you could always head into Coventry if it got too dull!
I've just graduated from the Warwickshire College doing a Equine Business Management degree and I actually only live 3 miles away. I loved it.
We were always told (and I don't know if this is true) that at Hartpury they have all of these fantastic facilities but they were to look at and students couldn't use them
We also had about 10 students from Hartpury transfer to Warks in my 2nd year as they got so fed up with Hartpury!
C_C - yes that's pretty much true about Hartpury's facilities! I replied in the same vein to the same post in Careers. Don't get me wrong, the place is brill if it's the place for you and the course is good. But as C_C said as well, people do transfer from Hartpury quite often (both myself and my friend transferred from Hartpury to Sparsholt College in Hampshire after our first year).
