hoping some one has experience of these, but some background first:
Having had the EMT out tonight, we have established that my 'cheap to keep cob' is infact quite high maintenance! She has UFP so carries some discomfort/tension due to trying to protect the stifle that has locked a few times this year. she has Massage Therapy every 8-10 weeks to try and keep on top of it but today was quite bad, we are going to look at her again in 6 weeks but thought in the mean time and inbetween visits we could 'keep her ticking over' with something like this with the aim that if we can target the uncomfort when she locks and stop it from getting any worse we can break the cycle - maybe im not explaining this well!
although i have used tens and muscle stim seperatly on work horses i'd be looking to get one of the combined ones that does both, my EMT doesnt have one either so i dont know where to start looking! im not asking for advice on how to use it/set it up as im going to get one of our physios out to help with all that - just want pointing in the direction of a good multi purpose Tens/Muscle Stim
