Which company to buy mobile field shelter from?

Hi, I'm looking to buy a mobile field shelter. There are so many companies out there I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations? A company called woodhouse seem to have good prices. has anyone used them? I want to keep costs as low as poss but I want a good quality shelter as my ned is a hooligan!

On a similar point is it worth having metal or timber skids?

We've got 2 - one timber one metal and would go timber every time now - the metal one has little wheels - nightmare. Ours are Saltire stables but too far from you I think.

we have used national stables. Very pleased with them.

Chart Stables - excellent. I have wooden skids, was going to pay extra for metal but their sales lady talked me out of it, as they last so long without the metal. Tows really well and is extremely sturdy. Excellent service, delivered and erected when they said and very efficiently.

Hi

I have a Chart double field shelter and my local farmer thinks its really well made.
I have timber skids with metal but have never ever towed it! they did provide a thick old chain! They were really nice the chaps that put it together.

I paid extra to have an over hang and we did our own guttering to save money as well.

I and a friend both got shelters from http://www.countryleisureuk.co.uk/ they are very well made, on skids and seemed reasonably priced.

I haven't moved mine but am now having to apply for planning for it as our particular council insists on you moving them every 6 weeks which would wreck my field...

I'm in the process of applying for planning but can't afford to build the stables at the moment so hopefully moving every 6 weeks shouldn't be a problem.

Ditto this! Bought one from them about 8 years ago... After lots of shopping around to try and find somethign cheaper - we have just ordered another 2 from them!

Honest you get what you pay for.....
