I'm wanting to buy a new pair of country boots...but not sure which to go for, quite like the look of the Mark Todd ones but also the Ariat Grasmere and also the Windermeres. I've had a pair of the Windermeres in the past but I didn't look after them very well :o so they didn't last more than a year :( obviously I'm going to really look after my next pair of boots :)

Any reviews of these boots or any other similar one? Looking to spend no more than £250! Any feedback is much appreciated :) tea and biscuits for everyone :p

Ariat all the time! I too had a pair of Windemeres that lasted a year as I didn't look after them but my Grassmeres are still in very good condition after 2 years - all I do is wipe them with leather genie every few weeks or so :)

oooh :) i really like the look of the Grasmeres! Also the new Derwent H2O boots look nice too! Are your Grasmeres still waterproof too?

Not owned either of the Ariat's you suggest, but as a brand they are probably the best in the country. However, I have saddly owned a pair of Mark Todd country boots!!! Never again!!

Oh dear...they're a no then! Thanks :) anyone got a pair of the Mountain Horse Forest highlander, look kind of similar to the Ariat Derwent boots??

I've had my ariat conistons for 4 years and they are still going strong. I do look after them though, always make sure they're washed off if they get muddy and they get a full clean and polish every couple of weeks

My ariat grasmeres are fantastic after nearly two years and are so comfy. Also they give great ankle support. Highly recommend and totally waterproof.
