Following on from the hand cream post! Using a Clinique sample that someone gave me at the moment but it's not moisturising enough in this cold weather. Any suggestions? And no I won't be putting the mud fever stuff on my face, although I have been known to put vaseline on really dry patches!

neemteam's stuff is wonderful, their face cream is £9.99 and i think it's better than any of the big name stuff. the original smells a bit nutty, which i like but which might not be to everyone's taste, but the orange and ylang ylang is sweeter.

Avene (available from Boots) is great for sensitive/aggrevated skin-i'm allergic to everything and have very sore dry hands in winter and the cold cream works wonders:) they also do more formulations for specific skin types and is the only one i've found not to make things worse:)
and it goes very cheaply on ebay!

My anti wrinkle anti sag moisteriser cream seems to keep me ok

Cheap and cheerful Nivea soft, is great and I've used it for years, so did my Nan and she had great skin when she was 98

I swear by using Body Shop Vitamin E cream and on really cold days I use Lush Dream Cream. Both aren't particularily expensive but work very well and a pot / bottle lasts ages!

Both soak in properly too and dont leave that horrid greasy layer.

i agree on the Body Shop Vit E range......... its lovely to use and they also have an intensive moisturiser as well....

I tend to use Susan molyneux intensive repair cream.... a little expensive but last for a long time!
