As title Preparing for the winter with my rugs before there's a mad rush to get them Are they all much of a likeness have you found, or are some better than others? xx
Ah of course! He's a 15.2hh connie, but not hugely chunky? 5'9 rug size usually Like the look of the weatherbeeta! Haven't had any of their rugs before though, so wasn't sure xx
I've only used 2 fleeces, the shires with gusset slips back and pulls on the front alot, whereas the weatherbeeta stays put without pulling, so would easily recommend this one. Have to add though I love my thermatex which I've had for ......... ok not saying how long or i'll feel really really old!! and it's still going strong now!
Weatherbeeta sounds good then How do they come up size-wise? A Premier Equine 5'9 fits him like a glove, so are Weatherbeeta generous with sizing, stingy or standard? xx
?? not had premier equine to compare, but my boy currently takes a 6'9 weatherbeeta and is the same size in masta, the jhl and mark todd seem to be a little more generous and horseware less so if that's of any help??
I love the Weatherbeeta one too. Its been washed several times and still looks new. It also fits my pony's weird shape well. She has low withers, big belly and a high rump! But my mum has one for her boy and he has level withers and bum.
I have a Premier Equine fleece and love the fit of it on my TB, high on shoulder. I've had it a couple of years, still looks very good and washes well. And not too expensive!
Another vote for the weatherbeeta! Size comes up normal for my cob.
Also I would recommend the ruggles rugs, I bought a copy Newmarket for my TB which fits really well.
just to add if you like pe rugs, and are interested in their fleece (no experience of it personally) they have I believe extended their Facebook offer of 25% off for another day or two, just find their facebook page and the voucher code is on there.
