which gloves for riding and which for general yard work etc??

Whcih gloves do we all wear for winter for riding and for yard work. My hands get cold very easily and i ride in the rain and go cross country as well as dressage. I like mountain horse but some gave said Selaskinz others have said cold hands with these. can you get gloves which will do both??

My hands freeze in sealskinz gloves! For riding I use the Mark Todd insulated ones and for yard work I have Atlas gloves, they do them in a thermal version and I wouldn't be without them now!

I use ski gloves for riding when its very cold! They are brill and waterproof and for yard work I wear a very thick pair od ski gloves.

Then when its not so cold I wear fluffy gloves for yard work and normal leather gloves for riding

I use 'Roeckl Katla Winter Riding Gloves' and they are fine for riding in winter. Then I normally shove another pair of gloves on top if its really cold for yardwork!

Ariat thermal gloves for riding - brilliant, toasty fingers and good grip and Atlas gloves for stable jobs etc.
