I only have a hw of 350gram. It is a masta combo. I would love to get a PE winter buster tho. Although i do prefer to have a good waterproof rug and an under rug/well fittedfleece combo underneath. Then if i change rugs at night i can leave that on and thus keep ponio warm!

I use a Rambo supreme no fill rug with a 300g liner, I spent ages deciding to buy this rug as it was so expensive, but I'm glad I did, it fits him an absolute treat and it means I can wash the liners and the inside of the rug doesn't get dirty.

I have a JHL heavy weight, it's a really nice fit on my TB and is light to take on and off and he seems very comfortable in it, and the outer layer of mud he has provided himself :)

Weatherbeeta Oricans for me too, think they're 360grm?
Love them, had mine for 3 years, both still fully waterproof and fit lovely.

Mark Todd Combo - blue plaid - think its 360 gram - very, very good rug - good fit with full tail flap and super tough. Very impressed. Younger boy has a WB Orican also - in its 2nd season and it looks as good as new but although a HW I think its slightly less in gram - perhaps 320 gram. Can't go wrong with either me thinks.

Shires stormbreaker combo 360g LOVE it, it kept my girly warm last winter when they were out with ringworm. Totally waterproof even in the worst weather and brilliant at surviving attacks from other naughty horses in the field:) she's quite a stocky type and it fitted her like a glove, no rubbing/ bald patches. I'm just a bit upset that she's in now so i can't use it again :p cost me £100 though but worth every penny :D

Another fan of the Weatherbeeta Orican heavy weight, all mine have these and they are brilliant, they don't rub, don't move and they keep them nice and toasty :)

I think the absolute BEST HW t/o is the Rambo supreme, which is 420gms. I had one for my old girl last winter, as she was elderly but had to live out, and it was BRILLIANT!! Sadly I've had to sell all hers as they were to big for my current two, but I would like another one when I have the pennies.

My gelding has the supreme in a MW/200gm but is currently wearing his new Rambo plus HW/370gm as he is freshly clipped and a wuss about the cold. I'm impressed with the Rambo plus. I had an earlier model of it a few years ago for one of my other horses and knew it was a good rug, (but she outgrew it and I sold it) however the newer model is even better. I am a bit of a Rambo addict. The new boy has 5 already  They last for years and years though, I think I've only ever thrown ONE out in over a decade.

We have a mark todd combo heavy weight which is about 360g. It is a really really good rug as the neck is really long (several times her head has gone up and she has 1 or 2 ears missing :p ) but its a bit small for her now and rubs her shoulder now she has put on lots of muscle so we are using a derby house 300g which is pretty rubbish. Fit is excellent but the neck is short and stiff so when she grazes the neck pokes up and the wind goes straight down it and over her back and then she gets cold- we have taken the rug off and her fur has been all fluffed up.
