which hoof boots?

Where is the best place to buy hoof boots these days? And what brands should I be looking for?

best choice?
best service?
best quality?

Horse has been barefoot for nearly five years - since birth - now she is being worked she needs a little protection from wear on her fronts.

Any pointers would be truly appreciated.

Go on "easycare" website and look at how to measure the feet for boots, when you have the measurements you will know what boots will fit your horse.

I would try second hand boots from ebay, as some boots rub horses, or they arent suitable for your horse, { second hand boots are very reasonable to buy, if they arent suitable but them back on ebay}

If your horse is just starting work, i would take it slowly at first, and see how his feet cope, as they will grow quicker to compensate for any wear.

I have measured her feet this morning and they are both 6" wide and 5" long, so I think I'm going to have a problem getting something to fit.

My mare goes GREAT in her renegades.
I love them all paces, all speed on all surfaces. Today we went up a big hill gallop. Very slippery and wet, no problems what so ever, she was very sure footed with them.
