Renewal time, currently with E&L, I know there is a lot of bad press about them on here but they have paid out swiftly on our previous claims.
Can people reccommend me some insurance please?

Petplan. Two claims in two years - same horse. Not quibbling about paying out and very helpful customer support. Excellent service and the premium only increased by £20 or £30 this year - but I don't over value my horses, as they are all irreplaceable to me anyway!

South Essex Had numerous claims over the years!!! always paid out, direct to vets.

Different levels of excess to choose from.

I insured with SEIB for the first time, and my new horse went lame within about 2 weeks of the cover starting. They paid up, without a quibble almost instantly (as they should have), but I was pleased with their handling of everything. It will be interesting to see how much the premium goes up next year, but they were way cheaper than any of the others I tried, including NFU who didn't seem to think that 7 years with no claim on a previous horse, and 15 years home insurance counted for anything!
