I'm writing this post for a friend who does not use social media.

'We shall be moving in 2014, area undecided at present but it will be in England, probably from Cheshire downwards east, west or central; but to a rural area with equestrian facilities. I use to hunt when I was a child up to my early twenties, but have had a few years off. I am looking for a hunt that hunts over easier country. I'm not really up to huge hedge hopping and ginormous ditches to start off with'.

Please can anyone suggest some hunts that may be considered suitable.

Or the Albrighton and Woodland as they are now :)

Their westerly neighbours are very friendly, with inviting well hunt jumped country and a very good field master -the Wheatland

Neither pack has "big"country and both encourage novices/newcomers -good websites too

Packs further north -north staffs, North and South Shropshire, up to the wynnstey and the Cheshire lot, do have more of a"jumpy" reputation

Further West, you're heading for the Welsh packs (United, Tanatside) which don't really have jumping country but do have the most fabulous hill country, if that's your style of hunting
